Kuwait is facing the final wave of Coronavirus and the situation is expected to gradually improve as of mid-May, Al-Rai reported quoting health sources.
The sources told the daily that the peak of the current wave is about to break, expressing optimism that this will happen within 3 to 4 weeks. The rate of hospitalization has also decreased.
Despite the challenges that many countries of the world face in providing approved vaccines, the rate of vaccination in Kuwait has increased in comparison to the beginning of the campaign. More than one million people have received coronavirus jabs in the country.
The sources pointed out that Kuwait’s model to deal with the Covid crisis yields the best results. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Kuwait imposed restrictions to prevent a sharp escalation in infection, and vaccination in parallel with the Travel ban.
